Marcelo Spaccarotella
Marcelo Spaccarotella is an Italian-Argentine conductor, pianist, and ballet specialist known internationally for his work with leading ballet companies and opera houses. Born in Buenos Aires to Italian parents, he studied composition, piano, and orchestral conducting in Argentina before relocating to Italy in the late 1980s. Since joining Teatro alla Scala, he has built a distinguished career as a conductor and répétiteur, specializing in ballet repertoire and collaborating with internationally renowned dancers and companies, including appearances at the Bolshoi Theatre. Recognized for his musical sensitivity and deep understanding of dance, Spaccarotella continues to conduct internationally in opera and ballet productions.
