David Motta Soares

David Motta Soares, a Brazilian ballet virtuoso, began his training in 2007 at the Regina and Ofelia Corvello Ballet School. His passion and dedication led him to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s Summer Intensive in 2010, followed by enrollment at the prestigious academy in Moscow at just twelve years old. Graduating in 2015, David made history by becoming the first male foreigner to be promoted to principal dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

There, he showcased his exceptional talent in principal roles in Don Quixote, Pharaoh’s Daughter, Legend of Love, Orlando, and more.

In 2022, David reached another career milestone by joining the Berlin State Ballet as a principal dancer. With every performance, his artistry and dedication continue to captivate audiences, earning him worldwide acclaim.
